Ola Sephiran (Saudi, b. 1994) is a self-taught multidisciplinary artist and aspiring storyteller with a background in animation and literature. Her work draws inspiration from the rich tapestry of human emotions and the intricate nuances of life, illuminating the beauty and complexities that bind and unite us all.
In 2023, she introduced her series Fromwithin, marking a shift in her artistic journey. Transitioning from illustration and digital animation—once limited by strict texts and briefs, she now embraces a more sensual experience of an abstract, tactile medium. Through hand-sculpting air-dry clay, Sephiran awakens to a newfound appreciation for intuitive and instinctive artistry, allowing the clay to take shape organically.
In her latest body of work, Sephiran delves into identity, femininity, and the pursuit of healing and liberation through erotically charged compositions inspired by nature. Her art fosters a strong connection with both herself and her audience, highlighting the themes of introspection and vulnerability.
